Los Angeles is a great city to be in to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day.  There’s always so much going on in the City of Angels.  Whether you’re looking for family friendly activities or a rockin’ party with pitchers of green beer, you’ll find an abundance of both in L.A.  So whether you have Irish roots or you’ll only be Irish for a day, come to Los Angeles to celebrate all things Irish!  

Hermosa Beach St. Patrick’s Day Parade

The Hermosa Beach St. Patrick’s Day Parade will begin at 11 am on Saturday, March 15, 2025.  It starts on Pier Avenue and ends at the beach.  You’ll see marching bands, dancers, community groups, colorful floats, equestrians and more.  After the parade is over at 1 pm, go to Pier Plaza for some live music until 4 pm.

Farmer’s Market

Los Angeles’ Original Farmer’s Market will be celebrating St. Patrick’s Day on Monday, March 17, 2025, all day.  You can enjoy traditional Irish food and live music.  You’ll see a strolling bagpiper and hear traditional Irish music on the patio.

Margie’s Kitchen in the Farmer’s Market will be serving their famous corned beef, cabbage and potatoes plates.  Green beer and imported Irish beers will be on tap at E.B.’s Beer & Wine and also at Bar 326.

St. Paddy’s Lucky Run

The St. Paddy’s Lucky Run will take place on Saturday, March 15, 2025.  Choose from a 5K, 10K or a half marathon (13.1 miles).

All participants will receive a swag bag that includes a running T-shirt, a finisher’s medal and a digital training pack.  Make great memories with friends and family while celebrating the luck of the Irish.

Tam O’ Shanter

A great place to celebrate the Irish holiday is Tam O’Shanter, a steakhouse with Scottish roots.  It is Los Angeles’ oldest restaurant that is owned and operated by the same family in the same location.

Their St. Patrick’s Day celebration will begin at noon on March 17, 2025, Follow the rainbow to Tam O’ Shante for their annual legendary bash!

The day will be packed with live music, festive drinks and nonstop Irish cheer.  The celebration will be across the patio and inside the lively tent filled with food, drinks and entertainment.  General admission to the tent is $10 at the door.
