Cinco de Mayo commemorates the victory of the Mexican army over the much larger French army in the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862.
Los Angeles’ Fiesta Broadway Festival is the largest Cinco de Mayo celebration in the United States. Since 1995, it has been held on the last Sunday in April. This year that will be April 27, 2025, from 11 am to 6 pm.
The Festival takes place in Downtown Los Angeles and is held along Broadway and around the streets of City Hall. This event is expected to attract more than 300,000 attendees this year.
This massive street fair has 2 stages for entertainment. International, national, regional and local performers include Latin singers, bands and dancers.
