This year, Valentine’s Day falls on Friday, February 14, 2025. So that means there are a lot of fun things to do for Valentine’s Day over the whole weekend. That is especially true if you live in or are visiting Nashville, Tennessee this Valentine’s Day weekend.
So we came up with our list of the best things to do in Nashville on Valentine’s Day and the weekend leading up to it.
1. My So-Called Band: 90’s Valentines Day!
If you love the 90’s, then you will love My So-Called Band. They play 90’s hits just like you remember them. And they are putting on a Valentine’s show (which is 1990’s theme, of course) over at Brooklyn Bowl on Valentine’s Day (February 14, 2025) at 9:00 PM. You can get tickets for the event here.
2. Candlelight: Valentine’s Day Special
Candlelights are live, multi-sensory musical experiences. There is a special Candlelight performance this year in honor of Valentine’s Day. The Listeso String Quartet will be playing romantic songs fitting of Valentine’s Day. This includes:

3. Rubiks Groove Valentines Spectacular!!
Rubiks Groove is a premier 80s & 90s Tribute Band. They not only play some of the best music of the era from everything from rock to hip hop. But they also provide a complete 360-degree interactive experience. This includes live music, characters, costumes, and videos.
Rubiks Groove is putting on a Valentine’s Spectacular performance the Saturday after Valentine’s Day, on Friday, February 15, 2025, at 8:00 PM at 3rd and Lindsley. You can buy a ticket for the event here.
4. Wendy Moten Valentines Show performing “ Love Songs That Should Never Be Forgotten “
Here is another great event that takes place at 3rd and Lindsley. Only this event takes on Valentine’s Day itself on February 14, 2025, at 8:00 PM. This concert features The Voice runner-up jazz singer Wendy Moten.

5. James Taylor Tribute Valentines show with Taylor’s Thread
Spend your Valentine’s Day enjoying the wonderful music of James Taylor with a James Taylor tribute band! Taylor’s Thread is a James Taylor Tribute band featuring top Nashville musicians. They’ll be performing at Hop Springs over in Murfreesboro at 7:00 PM on Valentine’s Day (Friday, February 14, 2025). You can buy tickets here.
6. Valentine’s Day Dinner at Commons Club
Perhaps you and your partner don’t want to attend a concert or show but instead want an intimate, romantic dinner together. Then consider Valentine’s Day Dinner at Commons Club at Virgin Hotels.
This dinner has a specialty prix fixe menu with such food as:
- Prime filet with hollandaise sauce & jumbo lump crab
