Since everything is bigger in Texas, the fun has to be bigger, right? Well, you will answer a big resounding yes to that question if you attend the appropriately titled Big TX FUN!
Big TX Fun will run through March 23rd, 2025. It takes place at Retama Park in Selma, Texas near San Antonio.
A big part of this event is the crawfish! There’s a crawfish broil with a crawfish eating contest.
There’s also a family carnival. There are kids’ ride and thrill rides. In addition to the carnival rides, there are pig races and a petting zoo.
Every Friday through Sunday, you can enjoy appearances by very special characters that hold a wonderful place in a lot of young children’s hearts. This could include Spongebob Squarepants, Doc McStuffins, Marshall from PAW Patrol, or Poppy the Troll.
There is also fireworks on select evenings, and live entertainment.
