Learn why Denver, Colorado has been known as “The Christmas City” for 100 years, and a lot about the history of Denver in general, during the Best of Denver’s Holiday Lights Tour.

You’ll meet at the Denver Art Museum in front of the giant broom and dustpan.  The tour will conclude at the Denver Pavilions, on the 16th Street Mall.

Along the way, you get to stop at the City and County Building and the Mile High Christmas Tree.  These beautifully decorated locales are perfect for pictures, so make sure your phone is charged!

You’ll also get to stop at Denver’s Christkindl German Market.  Shopping, drinking and food options are available there.  You can get some roasted almonds, pretzels, or hot cocoa.

You will also learn interesting facts about Denver’s history.  This includes fun facts about famous residents, scandals from the past, and even about haunted hotels!
