Are you considering purchasing an attraction pass for a visit to Athens, Greece?
This is a smart financial decision, as it makes a lot of sense to buy a pass or card that gets you into multiple attractions. This way, you can save money because these cards bundle all the attractions together. By paying one price, you would spend a lot less money than if you bought admission to each attraction individually.
In addition to giving you admission into top sightseeing attractions, these cards also can get you discounts for Athens attractions, too. So it makes a lot of sense when you are budgeting your upcoming trip.
So if you are planning a trip to Athens, Greece, you should consider buying an iVenture Athens Unlimited Attraction Pass or an Athens City Pass.
Today, we are going to compare the two passes to show you which one would be better for you. We’ll first summarize ways each pass is better. Then we will go into detail showing how we came to our conclusions by comparing the passes by
- Attractions Included in the Pass
- Discounts for other Attractions

- Good if you want to visit specific attractions that aren’t available with the Athens Unlimited Attraction Pass

You’ll also notice that there are a lot of attractions only one of the passes has. So if one of these attractions is on your bucket list, that may make your decision for which pass you want to choose.

In addition to free admission, each pass offer gets you a few discounts for other experiences in Athens. Now when I first compared these cards six years ago, there were a lot of discounts to talk about. Now, not so much.
But they could make a difference in which pass you want to buy depending on the discount. And this is still an area where City Pass shines.

Cost Comparison
So now let’s compare the cards by cost. The cost varies for each card by how many days you make the card active, which obviously would depend on how many days you are visiting Athens. Please note that the iVenture Card does not have an option for a 4-Day Pass or a 6-Day Pass.
For simplicity purposes, I just included it in American dollars. But it does give you an idea of the cost difference regardless of currency.
Another thing to note: the age of adult and children differs by the pass you choose, as you’ll notice in the different options.
You’ll also notice here that with the City Pass, if you have a child or teen (ages 6 to 17) from an EU member state, you get a significant discount.
