It’s been almost 20 years since Duffy first appeared at Tokyo Disney Resort. Since then, Duffy and his various friends have brought so much joy and fun to guests of the Tokyo Disney Resort.
And in honor of this, “Duffy & Friends 20th Anniversary: Colorful Happiness” will take place from April 8, 2025 through March 19, 2026. It’s themed to rainbows, bubbles, and all things happy.
The special event, primarily located in Tokyo DisneySea, is a great way to celebrate the seven beloved members of Duffy and Friends:

In this guide, you’ll find out about the unique anniversary decorations, food, merchandise and entertainment.
Decorations
During “Colorful Happiness,” you’ll see beautiful decorations throughout the entire theme park!
At the entrance of Tokyo DisneySea, there are banners showing off the number “20” as well as Duffy and his six friends. In the Cape Cod section, the buildings are adorned with bubble- and rainbow-themed decor. And colorful art is featured in Mediterranean Harbor on the walls around Via Paperino.
The special event decor isn’t limited to just Tokyo DisneySea. You can ride a monorail on the Disney Resort Line that’s decorated to honor the anniversary!
Food
Enjoy specialty food items and dining experiences themed to the anniversary!
Popcorn Bucket
If you like beautiful popcorn buckets, then you’ll definitely want to get one of these translucent, rainbow-colored popcorn buckets. The bucket is in the shape of a bubble and decorated with images of Duffy and his friends!
You can purchase it at the Popcorn Wagon in front of Sea Turtle Souvenirs in the Mermaid Lagoon area.

Creme Brulee Style Churros
Make sure you try the brand new milk tea-flavored crème brûlée churro at Tropic Al’s in Lost River Delta. It comes in colorful packaging featuring a design starring Duffy or one of his friends (with a total of seven possible designs).
From April 1 to June 30, 2025, you can also find these churros at Zambini Brothers Ristorante.
20th Anniversary Dining Experience
At Miguel’s El Dorado Cantina in Lost River Delta, you can enjoy a Duffy’s Special Set. It comes with:
- Salad
- Potato and green pea soup
- One of the following:
- Beef keema stew with rice
- Seafood tomato cream rice
- Tortilla sandwich
- Guacamole
- Chili beans
- Corn chips
- Cabbage
- Multigrain salad
- Choice of soft drink (can change to special drink or draft beer for an additional cost)
- Duffy and Friends 20th Anniversary placemat
- Duffy and Friends 20th Anniversary coaster (one of four designs, given at random)
This menu will be available from April 1 to July 2, 2025.
Hotel MiraCosta
Like with the decorations, the celebratory food is not limited to just Tokyo DisneySea park. You’ll be able to choose from special 20th anniversary menu options at the restaurants at Hotel MiraCosta:

- Bella Vista Lounge
- Silk Road Garden
Entertainment
You won’t want to miss the new entertainment program, Duffy and Friends’ Colorful Happiness Journey!
During the 20 minute program, the DisneySea Transit Steamer Line takes Duffy and his six friends around the waterways of Tokyo DisneySea. You see, Duffy was wondering just how far soap bubbles can float. So he and his friends share conversations as they chase after the bubbles!
Oh, and to add to the fun, Duffy and Friends will all be wearing beautiful new 20th anniversary outfits.
Merchandise
Brand new merchandise items will be available for the anniversary celebration. This includes plush charms featuring Duffy and his friends, each holding a bubble-shaped case. The case is perfect for displaying one of the 20 special patches designed for the 20th anniversary!
